The notcher for the builder who needs quick offset copes in tubing up to 3" OD! This design from JD2 is a large capacity, offset-capable addition to the popular JD Squared TN-100 tube notcher. The heavy duty steel frame holds a two-axis adjustable tubing clamp, and the ground and polished stainless shaft can be easily adjusted for offset coping. As with the TN-100 unit, the Notchmaster shaft is supported by sealed needle bearings. Using bi-metal hole saws to make the cut, this is an economical way to cope those tough applications!

The notcher is very solid and a huge up-grade from what I'm used to for sure! Two issues I had with it: 1) The shaft is completely round all the way down, it would be very nice the have some flats milled in the upper end to facilitate holesaw changes. 2) The socket head cap screw that controls the notch angle constantly fills with chips. I tacked welded mine in place and use the nut on the bottom only. The notcher itself functions and performs flawlessly aside from the two issues I fixed my self.
