Tennsmith manufactures a full line of medium and heavy duty hand brakes. The box and pan hand brakes range from 3” to 6” in depth. We offer traditional bench-mounted machines, floor standing box & pan, and the new universal hand brake capable of forming complex parts! All Tennsmith hand brakes are built to exceed their 75-year reputation of quality workmanship and are proudly made in the U.S.A.


Standard features include

  • Leveling Screws and lock nuts on the pedestals
  • Jack Screws and tensioner bolts on the apron, base, and upper leaf
  • Fully adjustable counter balances to facilitate bending
  • Removeable Apron angle and insert permit 1/4" reverse bends in lighter material
  • A replaceable nose bar and apron insert (straight model bending brakes only)
